Book Club format change?

I'm now into my sixth month of the Book Club and have been feeling a desire to shake things up a bit.  Although I am finding the Book Club rewarding, I've had a few people comment that the readings move too fast for them to participate.

So to make the site more accessible for others, what I'm proposing to do is have readings of around the same size as we are currently doing but take them from seven different books a week.  Each day could even be dedicated to a different subject.  For example:
Sunday - Biography
Monday - Major work - something that is around 1,000 pages - e.g. Augustine's City of God
Tuesday - Pastoral
Wednesday - Systematic theology
Thursday - Biblical theology
Friday - Devotional
Saturday - Church history

This way people can choose to follow the club as they are able.  Some could keep up with the lot, others might choose to do only one or two a week.

This is my thinking at the moment but I would be interested in your thoughts so comment in the section below and I'll put a poll at the side of the page.

I think it will depend on the books because I cannot afford to buy many books right now so they would have to be free online or I would have to have them already.

Thanks for your feedback.

In the beginning I tried to stick to books that were free but then drifted away from the idea.

But because we're trying to read only classics, it is not too hard to only read works that are freely available on the web.

Following your comment I will renew my efforts to stay with books that can be accessed for free.
