I've decided that the next Wednesday Worker title will be 'The Religious Tradesman' by Richard Steele (Available from Amazon or free here).
In 'Meet the Puritans', Beeke & Pederson comment: 'Steele addresses the duties of common shopkeepers in the midst of the bustle of daily life, showing how God-glorifying labor in their calling can serve as proof of the saving grace of God at work in their lives. After providing reasons for work and giving direction on pursuing and quitting a vocation, Steele elaborates on how prudence, diligence, justice, truth, contentment, and faith characterize the religious tradesman.'
Not a typical Wednesday Worker title, but I couldn't resist another of Steele's works.
By my calculations we'll finish our current Wednesday Worker title sometime in August 2013 and so we'll start our new title then.
