My summary
This week Steele winds up his chapter on justice.
Last week Steele gave us his first seven points on specific instances where the tradesman should exercise justice. 

This week he gives us his last five. 

Thus the tradesman should exercise justice:
(viii) in caring for apprentices;
(ix) in making due provision for his wife and children;
(x) in showing mercy to the poor;
(xi) in all lawful contracts;
(xii) in restitution of whatever may have been unlawfully gained or acquired.

To conclude the chapter, Steele exhorts you to:
(i) reflect on your past conduct as to this great duty of justice;
(ii) let all your actions be regulated by the rules of justice for time to come;
(iii) promote this justice in others as far as you are able.

What grabbed me
I appreciated the encouragement to examine my life for injustice: 'Reflect on your past conduct as to this great duty of justice. Perhaps your injustice has been so secretly managed, that your reputation is not injured by it ; but what says conscience?... Shut not your eyes against the light, nor frame any excuses for yourself now, that will not stand the test of the great judgment day. "Break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by shewing mercy.'' And seek the divine forgiveness by a sincere repentance before God, and an humble faith in Christ Jesus the Lord while forgiveness may be had. '

We should always be alert to injustice in our lives and quick to confess it to our God.
