What grabbed me
I liked this description of Whitefield's state: 'In short, my soul was quite filled with peace, and love, and joy; and, I took the first opportunity of kneeling down with my family, and venting my heart before them.  My soul felt so full of a sense of the Divine love, that I wanted words to express myself.  O dearest Jesu, why am I thus highly favoured?  Oh unspeakable, free, almighty, and everlasting love!  And yet these are only earnests and foretastes of future bliss!  Hasten, Lord, hasten that happy hour, when I shall be received into Abraham's bosom, and praise Thee to all eternity for what Thou hast done for our souls!  Even so, come, Lord Jesus!'

What a blessed state to be!
